„Before tomorrow comes, you can change everything“
-Alter bridge
I am afraid of my loved ones dying.
I am afraid of loosing emotions.
I am afraid of change.
I am afraid of making irreversible mistakes.
I am afraid to fall too deep to be able to get up myself.
I am afraid that I fear too much.
We are all born to die one day. Wether its gonna be tomorrow or in 20 years, happy or sad, having lived a joy imbued life or meaningless, empty days. You cannot change gods plan. Everything will happen at its given time and place. You can not hold on to things forever. The only thing you can is keep the memories you made, the conversations you had, the storys that you wrote in your heart forever. Cause they are never gonna die enclosed in warmth and nourished by love.
If you study vocab, can you remember it vivid and successful by just having a look at the bare words? Without filling them with meaning, imagining pictures, situations, scents or melodies.
Can you study efficient when your thoughts are somewhere completely else and not there With you, in the present moment?
You know what to do. You have to LIVE. Be sensitive to every twinkle in your counterparts eyes. To every dimple when they spawn a smile. To every goosebumps they give you when they pet your skin. Be aware of it all. The more active you memorize these things, the less liveliness of emotions you gonna loose.
Life is constant change. Without change we cant evolve and improve ourselves. Of course time will also change the good things we had. It will change they way you give love and the way you face new situations. But the change is up to you. Don’t let time change you, but change the times you’re living in, yourself. You have to make the best out of the change you’re being exposed to. Give each new arising seed of love the same space and attention you have given to the first one. Change the way that life wants to change you: be sealed because of disappointment you have experienced, exhausted because of the times you failed. Proof that you are the one deciding which road you’re heading down.
And last but not least: Be grateful for the change. If life didn’t change you crawling on the floor as a baby, how could you walk upright through each new day nowadays?
Making mistakes is human. If a doctor wouldn’t even try to treat a fatally ill patient, he would die anyways.
So, as long as you’re trying and acting with your heart in your hands, you can not go wrong.
“If you desire healing, let yourself fall ill“
-Rumi
You are never alone in a world full of people. You might feel like this some days, but always remember you just have to speak up for yourself and ask for the help you need.
Allow yourself to fall ill. A flu well treated and fully cured is less dangerous than a subliminal infection that constantly weakens your body and gradually takes away your vigor.
The only fear which is appropriate is the fear of fearing too much. It tones down the light in every laughter, it daggers the levity in every dance. It dries out the soil of the flower your love grows on and soaks up the iron will to sow true charity with every hand you stretch out to help.
